We accomplish these ten physical skills with constantly varied, functional movements that are executed at high intensity with the goal of increasing work capacity – across broad time and modal domains – then maintaining that capacity for as long as possible.

What does that mean?!?!
In simpler terms, we use functional movements, movements that mimic your everyday life. Functional movements allow us to lift safely, effectively, and efficiently. You will not find typical gym equipment here; we have replaced leg presses with squats and chest presses with push ups. We use a mixture of weight lifting, gymnastics, and various cardio exercises achieve our ultimate goal of overall fitness and health.

Does this mean I need to be an athlete or already in shape?  
NO!  Columbia CrossFit is for everyone and anyone. CrossFit is universally scalable. Whether you are an elite athlete or a beginner, CrossFit can help you reach your fitness goals.
