Our Trainers


Shelley Jones

Shelley is currently a personal trainer who works with the Manchester Fire Department. She grew up in Coventry where she did track in high school, as well as a competitive gymnast, cheerleader and dancer. Shelley competed in multiple national and world championships around the country. In 2011 Shelley and her team took first in the World and then 3rd in 2012. After 2012 she switched roles and became director of the Dance program and brought her teams to the World Championship twice. Over this past year she has found her new passion in Crossfit and was immediately hooked on the community and competitive aspect. She currently teaches multiple Crossfit, Kids, Teens and Level 1 classes.

Pat Stone 

Pat is a full time middle school health and physical education teacher. He recently graduated from Central Connecticut State University with his Masters Degree in Education Leadership. Pat has participated in athletics all his life, excelling at Track and Cross Country. Prior to being introduced to CrossFit he trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and competed in a variety of competitions around New England. Pat’s knowledge of fitness, functional movement, instructional experience and passion for CrossFit make him an outstanding coach at CCF.

Sam Gallmeyer

Sam is currently a senior at the University of Connecticut studying economics. He grew up playing baseball and basketball, as well as golf throughout high school. He started CrossFit in high school, after his parents and sister became members at CCF.  Since Sam started college, he has been an active member at CCF community.  Now a trainer, he enjoys watching people grow and improve, both physically and mentally.
